Windows 10 update problem
Desktop was working fine until I followed the Windows update link last night. When I started the update, it froze at 30%, and stayed like that all night!
I had to pull the plug and re-start the PC, The screen went blank, and, after leaving it for some time, the screen showed options of "Advanced etc" and "Re-start Windows".
After trying both of these, I still ended up with a blank screen for a long time. (I am using my laptop to contact Techsupport). I cannot use the desktop.
Is there a possibility that the Windows update is corrupt, what can I do to recover full use of my desktop again?
On the advice of Techsupport forum members, I DID save an "Image" and a "Rescue" disk in Dec. 2016, but of course, I need to know if the updates are causing this problem, and anyone else having the same problem?
