so i have this 'Horize' brand laptop in australia.
it's a rebadged clevo 550EU approximately 2014 model
Horize (clevo) W550EU
15" matte IPS screen full HD
250gb solid state disk drive.
I have passed the machine onto a friend after a clean install.
i downloaded windows 8.1 from microsoft usa and installed that.
But...two keyboard characters have transposed, - the @ and the ".
After googling the problem it states this is a 'location' issue requiring the correct country
to be chosen via the control panel.
My friend says she tried this and there was no change.
Just wondering if there is anything specific to this model that might require a change in settings or a download?
