For Those of us using EVGA desktop boards as home server boards
ive figured out a trick in the newer bios versions to bypass keyboard detect on boot with no F1 error.
1. go to boot configuration
2. enable fast boot
3. disable both USB and PS/2 init on boot. they will still operate but not until windows loads.
4. if you do ever end up needing bios. youll have to reset to factory CMOS settings to get usb init on boot back (though invonvenient)
as ive noticed in newer EVGA bios versions. this is THE ONLY WAY. to bypass the no keyboard F1 error on boot. other than keeping one plugged in for no apparent reason. which is inconvenient for alot of us. they seem to be getting less user friendly as time goes on.
i guess in a way this also applies to those of you using these boards as headless gpu miners. '); }
