I have a USB 3 hub. Is there any advantage or disadvantage to getting a cable to plug it in to the USB-C ports on the 2017
Thunderbolt ports that double as USB C?
Do Thunderbolt 3 ports that double as USB C?If so, I thought Apple were VERY proprietary about their innovations?
Do you think we'll have issues with the usb-c ports?
Do you think we will have issues with the usb-c ports in our 2016/2017 MB's?If you look at the connection the usb-c cable plugs into, it looks like a thin card, and my concern is how well it will hold up to constant use?Thoughts?

Use of Traditional USB Hubs with MacBook?
I'm looking for an inexpensive way to expand the ports on the new MacBook. Is it possible as a short-term fix to simply purchase a USB-C to USB adapter and then plug the USB end into an inexpensive regular USB hub that offers ethernet and more USB ports? Will all of them have full functionality?
