As title says, looking to upgrade my 2500K to 3770K. It seems games are finally taking advantage of more than 3-4 cores with the move to new consoles and more open world games. I have a 980Ti hybrid and I think it needs a few more threads and a bit of IPC gain to really stretch it out. What is a good going price for a used one these days? 200-215? I've been planning to upgrade to an i7 3770k or 3930k from my 2500k, but I was wondering if I should upgrade my motherboard as well. I currently have an ASUS P8Z68-V PRO and I have no problems with it.If anything, I'll just wait for Steam OS to come out and build a new PC from scratch. Thanks!
Just upgrade my CPU from 2500k to 3770k...... I could overclock fine before.....now i cant pass 39 My motherboard chipset is Z68, is this the issue ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. As know one seem to be able to answer this question.....
