Upgrade from Phenom II 1090t to Ryzen?

AMD CPUs - www.overclock.net
Hello all, noob here. I built my first PC 7 years ago and put a Phenom II 1090t Black Edition @ 3.6Ghz in it. This is getting pretty old now so I'm thinking about upgading.

Would an upgrade to Ryzen be worth it? What do you suggest? I don't want to spend a TON of money but I'd like to play games at a reasonable framerate.

I was thinking about the 1600x, how much of an upgrade can I expect?

Thank you! Any and all advice welcome '); }
