Question about RAM specifications between Intel CPU and Intel Motherboard

Intel Motherboards - www.overclock.net
Hello, i am quite new at overclock site so I don't know how the structure and where the questions can be made so I am sorry if I am in the wrong section. I have a question about the max supported ram in a motherboard. I don't mean the speed but the GBs.

I have a Z77X-UD5H motherboard and the specifications say "4 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 32 GB of system memory:. Does this mean that I can have max 32 GB at my system or every socket can support up to 32 GB which means 4 x 32 GB = 128 GB? Probably a stupid question but I am confused. '); }
