Is possible to use two IDE 2,5" HDD as Master/Slave?

Hi!

I own old notebook HP Compaq Evo N1000v and need to use two harddisks for MBR disk limit of primary partitions.

It has IDE 2,5" interface and inside is single harddisk.

Is possible to use also 2,5" IDE HDDs in Master/Slave like it is on 3,5" IDE interface?

I know that two disks fit not into notebook, but it is not problem I can customize it.

BIOS supports not booting from USB, but when I connect IDE to CF adapter it recognizes it as external HDD and there is option to boot from.

This means that can be possible to replace DVD drive by HDD - I'm not sure if I'm able to do it, so better can be leave it there and use Master/Slave solution - of course if is it possible...

Can anybody help or explain it me?
