Hello guys and thank you for reading, i'm a newb to overclocking but put together my first pc 2 or 3 years ago and have been hooked since. I picked up the parts above a week or so ago and have been working on getting a good OC every day after work. I set out to keep my vcore at 1.35 or lower and managed to get a stable 5ghz at 1.32 with llc level4 and 0 avx offset. Memory was being a pain in my ass but have managed to get it stable at 3200mhz with my OC.
My first question is about stress testing I have ran 8 hours of realbench, 10 hours of aida 64, 2 hours of occt linpack and a few hours of memtest is this enough to say its 100% stable? My max package temps were 78c but it mostly hovered in the upper 60's low 70's and idle at around 29-31c, the voltage in hw monitor would read 1.312 most of the time and i tried to increase the llc but it would overshoot my set voltage in bios.
My second question is about adaptive vcore, Right now i am at 1.32 in manual is it safe to run 24/7? I tried what i have seen suggested in other posts and the kaby lake overclocking guide and set the turbo voltage to 1.32, ran a short realbench run and it crashed, i also noticed it would spike to 1.344 voltage, tried setting llc higher and it would pass a short realbench run but the voltage spikes got higher, also tried upping the turbo core voltage but i had to be at 1.35 for it to work and it would still overshoot quite a bit with low llc levels.
