OCing X58 with new hardware

Intel CPUs - www.overclock.net
Glad to be a member here. I followed the guidelines here and was able to achieve 3.7 Ghz with my old hardware (4 gb DDR3 1600 ram, radeon 7750 GPU), but since I upgraded (8 GB DDR3 2133 + Geforce GTX 1050 ti GPU), I can barely overclock at all.

Motherboard is an EVGA X58, processor Intel Core i7 930 2.8 ghz. Noctua NH D14 air cooler, temps around 45 C.

I read that to enable the new memory, I needed to enable the XMP profile, but every time I did this it wouldn't boot. The highest I could set the memory frequency was 2:14 (1867 mhz). The highest I could set the clock without rebooting was from 133 to 135 (before the upgrade it was at 185)

memory frequency 1867 mhz / 2:14

no vdroop

CPU vcore 1.2375

dimm voltage 1.65

all other settings at default or auto

CPU clock ratio 21x

multiplier 135

target CPU frequency 2977 mhz (135 X 22)

Target Memory frequency 1894 mhz

intel speedstep enabled

turbo mode enabled

CxE function disabled

Still a bit new to this so would greatly appreciate any help (& sorry if this is the wrong section)
