Looking to speed up my home server

Servers - www.overclock.net
So earlier this year i threw together a small server in my home to act as my file storage with 2x1tb drives in raid1. The raid volume is working absolutely perfectly, get a small speed hit but for my storage 100mb/s is more than enough but what Im having trouble with is my virtual machines though on my 320gb main drive.

Right now i run 3 VMs to host dedicated pvp servers for my favorite game (warframe) and when i go to update those servers is when they slow to a crawl unless i do them one at a time, so Im seeing myself hitting a wall with I/O performance. Im thinking of switching to a SCSI drive as my z400 supports it but will i see a large improvement? Im looking at a 450gb 15krpm vs my current 320gb 7200rpm sata. Ive never really worked with SCSI drives but from what i understand they handle this sort of workload better than a sata drive would. '); }
