Internet randomly losing connection

Overclocking - Tech Support Forum - www.techsupportforum.com
My Win7 PC is connected to the internet via a Devolo Powerline adaptor, it's in an upstairs room, the other end of the powerline is plugged directly into my BT Hub router downstairs.

About once every 1-2 hours my PC loses internet connection, when I use the network troubleshooting tool in Windows it generally reconnects within 30secs or so, but I'd like to stop it disconnecting in the first place as it's annoying for gaming etc.

When it reconnects it sometimes gives an error message or reason for the issue, but it's not consistent...

The default gateway is not available or Network adapter has been restarted

Occasionally it will say the router isn't connected, however I'm still able to get a wifi signal on my phone so I know that's not the case. My broadband is very reliable at around 45mb or higher.

Any ideas?
