Hardware Recalibrate Dell P2415Q Monitor?

In my infinite wisdom and curiosity, I decided to open up my Dell P2415Q monitor and in the process, cracked the panel (yeah I know, I dun goofed with that one.) However, it's not all at a loss as the panel I found out is an eDP BOE panel which felt oddly washed out to me, and had weird crosshatching effects from the terrible antiglare they put on it.

The controller and everything work without issue, you can see things "working" on the screen, they are just glitched from the panel damage. Thing is though, this has me thinking of actually replacing the panel in it with something better (and still compatible,) and I came across this from Elecok:
