Motherboard: Foxconn G33m03
CPU: Q6600 @ 3.15Ghz Ram: 6Gb Pc2 5300u Kingston Ddr2 Ram PSU: ACE 850w 46A Single Rail 12v Bios: 722F1P37 (Latest Bios For the MOBO) Hi there To all and am hoping to Pick Brains on this Subject or if anyone has had a Similar experience and to see how I can Correct it. I Have Upgraded My GPU from a Palit Geforce 210 1Gb Which Worked without issue Compatibility wise just Lacked Punch when Running Certain Games, to a Palit Geforce GTS 250 1GB Which I know works as my Friend sold me the Graphics Card and have seen it in a working environment beforehand so I know that it isn't Broken or Bricked. I have tried Everything Cmos and Bios wise. I replaced the Psu to a Juicy 850w with 46A down the single 12v Rail so I know that this now isn't an issue as the Card Requires 24A and I only had a 450w jeantech with 20A Split to Multiple Rails. I originally thought this was the Issue by Being underpowered but the Exact same thing Happens to me with Both Psu's. The Problem is that I Get absolutely no output whatsoever and the Motherboard will not post with the GTS 250 Installed (But Absolutely Fine with no External 6pin Plugged in, But Card still not Recognised) I Uninstalled all Previous Drivers to check That wasn't the issue (Still Nothing) Reset (Clear Cmos) Still nothing upon Several Attempts Have been told to remove Cmos Battery Completely, Run without Cmos Battery in to Make sure Everything Resets With the new GPU installed (If Outputs and Posts) and install all Necessary Drivers For Card, Power Down, Reseat Battery and Viola!! That doesn't Make sense to me though as would the Cmos not Reset As I power down the Machine to Reseat The Cmos Battery? Any Help on the Matter Would be Greatly Appreciated as I Do not want to Give up on this Project but am Ripping my hair out trying to do it alone haha Many Thanks to all Nathan Milnthorpe '); } Read responses in overclock.net |
