Other than Ryzen, What benefits from overclocked Memory?
AFAIK, Gaming has no real benefit for DDR4 memory speeds past the old DDR3 1600 speeds... which begs the question; What sort of process is memory intensive and would benefit greatly from faster ram? I just want to see some other uses I don't normally explore myself.

i never heard of rank for RAM but on anandtech they show So in a simple form after searching google if a RAM chip has memory of both sides it is dual rank and if it is on one side it is single rank? Do i have that correct?
