US Customs cracking down on these 'Streaming" boxes that don't have a HDMI license

Networking, Media Servers & Content Streaming - www.avsforum.com
I don't know if any of you guys are aware, there is a recent crackdown on these Streaming boxes from China that do not have a valid HDMI license. AKA an "adopter". Customs will 'seize' the shipment and if that manufacture is not on the "adopters" list, it will be seized. This came from a US Customs officer as he told me they are targeting shipments from China due to complaints, no doubt from HDMI & Hollywood (as usual). My shipment was seized, opened, but then released 3 days later. It came "DHL Express". (I don't know if the carrier mattered or not.)

Example; DuneHD and Egreat are not in the HDMI.org "adopters" list! Egrat's license was terminated August last year.

Take a look here;
