I have a loop with 3 copper blocks, 1 nickel-plated brass drain port, 1(soon 2) nickel-plated copper block, 2 copper radiators running on distilled, it's been running for 6 months like this, should I have any corrosion concerns ? what are the symptoms of corrosion in the loop ? - I have seen some small pieces of white things in it, but I cleaned it all up and rinsed it a few times (but they keep coming back, maybe it's bacteria ? so I added some anti bacterial agent), I did maintenance recently and cleaned the green from some of the blocks (took a good 6 hours drowned in vinegar to get it all out), there never was any algae in the loop because I use anti algae constantly (maybe I should have continued to add anti-bacterial as well ?), there were also some strange brown pieces in one of the new transparent blocks I installed recently
I do have 2 radiators but they are both copper, should I be looking into running 2 separate loops to separate the nickel-plated ones ?
also are there any maintenance concerns with the nickel-plated blocks ? I understand I can't use vinegar on those, then what to use ?
