Bulk MP3 Editors and Windows Media...
Well, the last thread was sop rip-snortin' with replies, I figured I'd try some thing else.
I have some tracks that I would like to make changes to. I know there are MP3 editors and some can be used to edit multiple files and that they can edit things that you can't by the usual means.
But can you edit/set the PlayCount on each file? I've found a couple of methods to reset the PlayCount in the registry, but that seems to reset it for all tracks, not what I want.
As it stands, if I edit a track (one that's been played 10 or 15 times) in Audacity and re-encode it, the PlayCount goes back to 0 since it's essentially a new file. I'd like to be able to edit, encode and set the PlayCount to whatever it was prior to the edit.
