Broadcom 802.11 Network adapter works better rolled back in netbook em250

Wireless Networking Forum - www.tomshardware.com
I must keep rolling back my broadcom adaptor to get a normal signal. It works otherwise but appears weak, as if a broken antenna. For a year that's what i thought it was. An upgrade to 7 Ultimate made it start working again. I was surprised. But I still sporadically have to roll back the driver and is a nuisance. Very strange. Why and how to fix? I try avoiding broadcom updates, but still have issues. Maybe I accidentally updated broadcom. But why must i use an old version?
