Uninstall default apps
Can defaults be deleted\uninstalled? There are some apps that I'll never use and thus I could safe space on my SSD.
How to manually update apps?
I would rather see what is in the update before the apps do it automatically. I see the option to turn off automatic updates, but where do I go to check and update them manually?

How long does your rMBP last on battery with max screen brightness and multiple apps?
I tried one in an Apple Store. I opened a dozen Safari tabs, a dozen apps and increased the brightness to 100% - my usual workflow. The estimated battery life went down to 3,5 hours. Does this check out with your results?
