Asking for VirtualDub codec assistance

Audio/Visual Club - Ars Technica OpenForum - arstechnica.com
I've searched through the forum and couldn't an answer that worked for me so I'm asking for help.

Have a new machine running V-Dub but having trouble finding/installing installing codecs. Its a refurbished Dell with an Intel dual CPU, onboard video, 8 gigs memory, Win7 64bit.

My other two machines (AMD 8 core & AMD 4 core, WIN7 Pro 64bit) both have V-Dub (DVR mod) installed on them with plenty of codecs installed and working. The new machine on the other hand I've downloaded/tried everything and only have 4 codecs available. Would really like to be able to use MPEG 4. Getting old, I've lost too many brain cells and can't remember how I've done it in the past.

Any help is appreciated, TIA!
