Alternatives to Docker for Windows?

Servers - www.overclock.net
I have been looking at virtualising or running certain programs in their own containers in the event of a crash so that they don't bring my entire system down and I just can't find an alternative to Docker for Windows. I use 8.1 on the media server because I dislike Win Spy and the last time I used it on the server it didn't work out as well as 8.1. Sadly Docker seems to work with Win Spy or Server only and I am not experienced enough to use Server and as a small home server 8.1 serves me just fine.

So, do you guys know any alternatives to Docker or is Docker truly the best solution for virtualising programs?
