Adding CEC to turn on display with NVIDIA card

Hi, this might be more appropriate for the gaming forum as the PC in question drives my home arcade in my theater rather then my home theater. But I also figured this was a more common problem for people using a PC as a home theater source.

I have an off the shelf old HP I rescued that is currently the heart of my home arcade.

I have a budget friendly low profile nvidia based gpu so I can run some more modern games and also have hdmi output. It is connected to a cheap 32 inch vizio 720p display.

The vizio supports cec but the nvidia based card does not (as I understand none of the nvidia gpu's support cec yet).

I'm trying to find a way to have the PC turn on the display.
