£300 gaming/movie monitor
After many years I am gonna buy a new monitor but I need help with deciding . The monitor will be used for gaming, movies, web browsing and occasionally office work and programming. I am no true hardcore gamer, no online FPS and such, only SP games like Skyrim, Biochock, Stalker etc. No photo or video editing.
- Quick response time, low input lag
- 1080p, prefer 23 over 24
- height adjustment
- flickering free
- I would also like some automatic brightness sensor but since they usually don't work flawlessly it is not a condition.
I have done my research and these are ones I am interested in:
BenQ XL2411Z (will I make use of 144Hz, or is it useless money for this in my case?)
BenQ BL2410PT (my budget option so far, a little bit afraid of VA panel)
Eizo Foris FS2333 (flickering PWM)
Eizo Foris FG2421 (too bad it costs too much)
Eizo Foris FS2434 (no review yet, don't like the frameless design much though)
Eizo EV2336W (I would like something cheaper, otherwise looks good)
NEC MultiSync EA234WMi (I cannot find any review and I don't know input lag, otherwise similar specs like EV2336W for less price)
AOC g2460Pqu (applies same as for BenQ XL2411Z )
My budget is about £300, less is better ofc .
As I think of it I would probably be satisfied with any 60 Hz, TN, low input lag, flicker free, height adjustment monitor... I had TN so far and I had no problem with it, on the other hand I have never used IPS so I cannot compare.
Thanks for help. '); }
