LCD panel datas

Printer Accessories & Printer Consumables Forum - forum.printercomparison.com
Hi,

When you decide to buy laptops, there is one very important component on it, LCD panel for which nobody offer exact data.

So i decided to research it a bit and i discovered pretty disappointed things. I tried to get answer from on of A brands regarding their IPS panel, specifically LG 156WF6. When you check datas about it on (), you can see that one important thing like brightness can vary between 200 and 300 cd/m². Beside that there is also differences in color gamut and some other things. You must admit it is pretty huge difference for that can affect you buying decission alot.

Note the fact that i am actually importer for my country for that brand, and i couldn't get an answer, actually i got it, that they avoid to give data so that people can't complaint about it??? they give just basic data like 15.6"FHD IPSlike. and that is it.

So i wonder , do you thing that we all have a rights to get those data, or it is normal that 2 people pay same money and get 2 so much different things. At the end, panel is what we look and it is not same to look movie on dimmed 200 cd/m² screen, or play games on 300cd/m² sharp and crisp one.

PS: does anyone have some super mega data extractor that could actually get those aditional data about panel model? I tried Aida, HWinfo, Monitor Info, SIW, and neither of them could provide me exact model name.
