FX-8320 returning lower physics score than Phenom II X4 945 in 3dMark Fire Strike
I've spent a few days browsing the interwebs and trying various solutions but I'm still having this problem. I recently upgraded my processor from a Phenom II X4 945 to an FX-8320 and saw a drop in performance by about 400 points for the combined score (in Fire Strike) and my physics score is almost half (3071 for the Phenom, 1641 for the FX). I am observing the temp and the cores during the test and the temp is fine (around 39C under load) and all 8 cores are being utilized around 95%. I have tried disabling all "power saving" features for the CPU in the BIOS, I have not tried re-installing windows yet (which I'm really hoping isn't necessary). I have come to realize as well, that both of these scores are much lower than they should be, I just didn't realize my Phenom II was underperforming until I installed the FX, saw that it was doing even worse than the Phenom and looked up the scores I should have been getting on Futurmark's website. I hope I'm not forgetting anything, any help would be greatly appreciated!
