4820k or 4770k for Gaming?

CPUs Forum - www.tomshardware.com
Question is in the title.

I don't know whether to go for a 4820k which entails a Rampage IV Gene board to use 4x4gb sticks in actual quad channel, or use the 4770k in a Maximus VI Hero and just go with 2x4gb sticks.

I'll probably be doing some overclocking but nothing extreme, just a one time tweak up in performance from the get-go.

Looking for a relatively future proofed gaming rig btw.
