best options for huge backup

Graphic Design, Digital Imaging, and Multimedia - Tech Support Forum - www.techsupportforum.com
I am helping someone out and need some advice.

He has Windows 10, he does photography professionally, so he has a lot of data. His primary drive is a 500gb SSD. used mostly for a PST file and word/excel docs. about 225gb used.

2nd drive he puts new images on to be sorted and edited as time permits. this is a stored on a 2TB sata with about 80% full.

3rd drive is for storing images that have been processed. This drive is also a 2TB Sata.

I am going to upgrade his two storage drives to 4 or probably even 6TB.

I am going to get a NAS w/raid to do both a full backup and incremental.

He also wants a second backup option to store offsite.

I would appreciate any suggestions, such as best software to use. Best NAS RAID, What size NAS should I go with. He said he would not be surprised if he had pushing 4 TB on both storage drives with in a couple years.

For offsite I am thinking an 8TB external backed up monthly for now until he outgrows.

The computer is an i7-4790k, 32GB PC3-19200 Ram, running windows 10 Pro
