Do all 4k LED monitors have a bright backlight?

Monitors and Displays - www.overclock.net
SoI bought the monitor Asus VP28UQG to upgrade from 1080p to 4k, it looks fantastic however there are some things I’m not so sure on, firstly the backlight is extremely bright compared to my previous monitor, there seems to be no feature to turn it down, and I can’t do so on pc as I use it for Xbox.

Also it’s 10bit colour however after playing a number of games it seems anything that is black has some degree of blue to it.

The backlight issue is the worst thing, and I have tried changing things in the settings but has made no difference, best mode I’m using is theater mode, I have turned down brightness yet backlight still so bright and noticable especially playing a game that is based at night.

I’m considering sending it back however I’m not sure, are all 4k monitors that are led have a bright backlight?

Also says it supports FreeSync yet option not available to turn on in settings.

Any reply would be appreciated

Thanks '); }
