Should I get Ultrawide or a regular 1080p monitor?

Monitors and Displays - www.overclock.net
Here's the issue: Since monitors have long lives, I've literally not read anything about them properly since I had my last monitor (8 years wow).

But now it's showing it's age and doesn't work - static type thing on screen randomly shows up.

My requirements / use from a monitor:

1) Mostly browing the internet, doing some photoshop work and video editing. Not too heavy, just from time to time.

2) Gaming - not heavy either, for example, the only games I'm playing these days is Tekken 7 and CSGO.

Games I'm looking forward to from E3: Dragon Ball FighterZ, Metro Redux, Life is Strange, Assassins Creed Origins.

I hope this gives you an idea of my gaming habits.

What I'm confused about is, what sort of monitor I should go for?

Will Ultrawide be good for me? For someone who's just a casual and play games to relieve stress or should I simply go for a regular monitor?

What about a 2K monitor?

It's hard to make this choice when I don't know which type of monitor is better for which type of tasks?

Also, my GPU is a gtx 760. I run Tekken 7 at 60fps at 1920x1200. So, I don't see much need of upgrading but if there's any need of upgrading GPU in future, no problem, I'll do it.

My main concern right now is to just make a right choice for the monitor since it'll stay with me for a long time.

Thank you! '); }
