New Monitor - Budget £1000

Monitors and Displays - www.overclock.net
Hey Guys

I am in the market for a new monitor to replace my trusty old Yamakasi, I have a £1000 budget and was leaning toward an Ultrawide. The monitor I was thinking of getting is the Acer Predator X34A. The only thing is that with HDR now coming out soon would I be better holding off for a while?

Does anyone have any recommendations? 4K or Ultrawide? I do like the thought of G Sync but it does bump the price up on the monitors.

I do like to game but I am by no means a hardcore gamer, I prefer quality over high frame rate. I do also do a lot of webdesign and office work which is mainly what my PC is used for. I was leaning more toward Ultrawide because I'm used to 1440 and I find 4k seems to be too small (plus I don't understand the point of buying a 4k monitor that's the same size as my 1440 of 27in).

Any tips or thoughts very much appreciated! Thanks. '); }
