Which monitor...? Please help a noob with no idea lol

Monitors and Displays - www.overclock.net
Ok so I have just moved over from console gaming and I've managed to wing my way through building my Core P5 (my 1st ever PC build) was able to find my own answers for everything but now I am looking for a new monitor to go with my new beast and with so many choices and not quite fully understanding the whole monitor/GPU/system matching thing just yet, its giving me a bit of a headache finding the correct screen to get the most from my system and need a little help, please.

My system specs are:

Asus M9F

7700k custom loop watercooled

32GB TridentZ 3000Mhz

Asus 1080 ti OC air cooled

EVGA 850G2L

960 EVO M.2 RAID boot/game drive

Win10

If it makes any difference I do plan to (in the next few weeks) either A, fit a water block to my GPU and add it into my loop or B, switch to the 1080ti Poseidon, add it to my loop and put current 1080ti into my eldest sons in-progress build.

I doubt I'll ever run multiple monitors, prefer just one.

Have been looking at the Acer predators and ROG Swifts etc so that's around about my budget. Coming from a standard Samsung 24" curved I do now prefer curved and would love a 34" sort of size.

Any help appreciated. Thanks.
