Please help! Having hardware issues installing my new sound card in PCI

I'm replacing my old faulty sound card with a brand new ASUS Xoner DG. My old sound card installed through PCIe, this is my first time installing something through PCI. The problem is when I attempt to screw to the case it slides back out of the slot. Now, this could possibly be an issue with my case which was slightly dented when I received it. I've had it for years though and had no issues installing anything else with it. Feel like this is a common enough thing that someone hear would have a solid solution.
