D5 noise at certain RPMs

I've got an EK D5 PWM pump and it's near silent at most speeds, but in the 2500 - 3000 range it makes a noticeable whirring noise on and off. I currently set it to run at a minimum of 3200 to eliminate that, but I'm curious if anyone has run in to similar issues. Any advice welcome and thanks in advance.
