EK-D5 X-RES 140 CSQ vs EK-D5 X-RES 100 CSQ and Water cooling questions
Hello guys, I'm starting to build a new Skylake system and have few Watercooling questions:
MB: Asus Maximus VIII Z170 Hero
CPU: Intel i7 6700K
GPU: Single MSI GTX 980 Ti Gaming 6G
Case: NZXT H440
Now as you can see I will only ever gonna use single GPU. I will never Overclock my GPU and the only reason I'm currently considering custom loop ( First Time, Never done it before ) is to have a quite and cool GPU.
So far I always used AIO CLCs and they did a great job for cooling the CPU. so now on to the questions:
1. Will the pump on the EK D5 PWM ( ) be quite or should I say quieter than lets say H105 pump from corsair?
2. Would you recommend to go full custom loop in my scenario to have a quite/cool system with my system specs?
3. Besides Reservoir size, whats the difference between EK-D5 X-RES 140 CSQ and EK-D5 X-RES 100 CSQ? will the EK-D5 X-RES 100 CSQ be enough for CPU and single 980 Ti?
4. I wanna stay with EK Complete Kit, would you recommend to go with::
EK-KIT D240 (In Win D-Frame Mini drop-in)
EK-KIT D360-X2 (CaseLabs Mercury S8 drop-in)
Also if there is any other help or suggestion I would greatly appreciate it as I have never done custom loop before.
