using QDCs to add pond pump and water filter to loop for lazy flushing?

Water Cooling - www.overclock.net
West coast mods has a YouTube vid of an easy way to flush blocks and rads using a pond pump and water filter. I'll find and post the link if folks want to see it.

But I was wondering, rather than take a loop apart for flushing, can't I just get a pair of qdc's and add the pond pump and water filter to the loop whenever I need to flush? So I'd have the qdc somewhere in the loop, and then matching ends hooked up to the pond pump and water filter; I disconnect the qdc and plug in the matching ends connected to the pond pump and filter and run it using the pond pump.
