EK-HD 12/16mm Fitting - Copper Tube, Brass Tube, Stainless Steel Tube.

Water Cooling - www.overclock.net
Hi,

Just bought 14 of the fittings below along with the acrylic tubing to go with however in the item description it says:

Quote:

Technical data:

- thread: G1/4" BSP; 4.5mm male thread length

- supported tube: 16mm (OD)

- outer diameter of a fitting: 21.7mm

- installed height: 11mm

- compatible tubing: solid Acrylic-, Copper-, Brass- or Stainless Steel tube

I can't for the life of me find any copper tubing that has an OD of 16mm, 15mm is the closest i can find. My question is, would 15mm be ok?

Also i would like to know if using Stainless steel or brass tubing would have any adverse effects on the loop. I am using Alphacool full copper rads (Which i believe do contain some brass around the inlets and outlets?),copper EK blocks along with distilled water and a silver coil.

Any help on the above would be much appreciated .ocn-threads-first-post-500x50 { width: 500px; height: 50px; } '); }
