Question: Does the AMD/NVidia driver issue still exist? - Been out of the game for a LONG while

Graphics Cards - General - www.overclock.net
So when I was last perusing the computer parts world (I've had the same setup since I was last here), there was a known "thing" where when you transition for AMD to nVidia or vice versa graphics cards, you'd usually have to reinstall windows due to the drivers basically messing with each other & causing errors even after the old drivers were uninstalling & driver sweeper cleaned.

I am currently looking at FINALLY upgrading my R9 295x2 to a GTX 1080 Ti, so I'm just wondering if anyone has done such an AMD to nVidia swap recently and if they had any issues.

I have a lot of games I'd have to re-download so I'd really rather not reinstall Windows 7 if it's at all possible to avoid it.

Thanks guys! '); }
