GPU is at 122 Degrees Fahrenheit For No Reason

Graphics Cards - General - www.overclock.net
I'm on my desktop, doing web browsing, and the GPU is at 122F. It's heating up my entire room, seemingly 10 degrees hotter than any other room in the house. Why is there no way for me to turn my GPU off and use my CPU-integrated graphics, which would never get that hot? NVIDIA already has NVIDIA Optimus for laptops, why isn't there a way to disable the high-powered GPU on desktop when it's not needed and use the CPU-integrated one? Wouldn't that save energy, heat, and increase lifespan? '); }
