There is more than one type of a Z370 Asus and Gigabyte Motherboard?

Intel Motherboards - www.overclock.net
TUF, ROG, and Prime oh my!

I have always been pleased by motherboards from these vendors. Though I am curious about the huge selection and variety of boards from both of these manufactures.

I am leaning towards Asus right now and this what I understand:

TUF: The new Entry level, though still better quality than many others out there

Prime: Mid grade, w/ less pomp and circumstance

ROG: Higher Grade and more trendy aesthetics

-Styx: Less Features

-Maximus: Includes Kitchen Sink

I am right now bouncing between the Prime and all the way to the Maximus. I want something with reliable components, i.e. capacitors and that will last me for 4 or 5 years. I want to get a 8700K and try to push it to 5Ghz. I don't use my computer daily, though I use it for gaming, when my wife lets me. I heard that the ROG do come with slightly higher quality capacitors. If this is true I think that would sway me to the ROG. If I move into the ROG, which I hear the Maximus is a little easier to over clock and it has USB 3.1 headers. I do use Corsair wireless headphones, so I don't see the sound quality to be all to important at this time. '); }
