I think I bought the wrong cpu... trying to push my oc

Intel - General - www.overclock.net
Ok so first time builder... if i leave anything out please tell me.

Hardware.

I5 7600k 4.9 ghz at 1.38v

Strix rog 1070 ti

Nzxt 52 KRAKEN aio

Asrock z270 extreme 4 mb

Samsung evo 850 (500GB SSD)

2 8g ram gskill 3200 cl14

Evga 650w 80 gold

So I was playing statecraft 2. Custom games and I became hugely gpu bound and my game slowed down to 7 fps.... unplayable. And I just bought the dam thing too so u really don't want to upgrade... So I NEED to squeeze every oz out of this dang thing so I can get some use out of it.

So already i have delidded.. I know not a beginner thing to do.. But i did. And enjoyed it. I saw some good gains on averages but prime 95. I think 28.5... I think. Still peaks at 94c.. But averages about 65c running it for a couple of hours. Which is way down from what it was on a slower clock. I think I saw more than 10c temp drop. So yah all I have done so far for the oc. Is crank up the volts and try and crash it. Ram is set to xmp1.

I've tried to do a little reading up on this and my bios doesn't have llc. I have no idea what avx is. So yah

I have pushed my mb to 1.42 and she will hold that voltage. Anything higher and I will see a voltage drop right before it crashed.. So far.... what makes the most since is 49x on 1.38v. But i NEED more lol '); }
