Wanting to Downgrade AM3+ Motherboard

AMD Motherboards - www.overclock.net
I pulled apart my media server to sell all the parts as it was unused. It was sitting in the fabulous Fractal Design Define Mini case: -

I now want to put my main rig in this case on a Micro-ATX motherboard (probably second-hand). So this would mean downgrading from a Asus M5A97-Pro to a M5A88-M. I'm aware these aren't great boards anyway, but I recently went back to stock and intend to stay there.

Components are as the "For Gaming" rig. I'm aware I probably won't get the full ram speed.

Anyone think this is a bad move?

The reason I want to do it is because I love the case and the sound insulation. So much better than the Cooler Master one I have. Not planning to upgrade anything else at the minute. Damn parenting!

Thanks
