Can you exclude a specific drive from a JBOD?

Other Hardware - Ars Technica OpenForum - arstechnica.com
Ok, So here's my situation... I have a 20TB JBOD setup with 7 drives, All WD Red 3 and 4 TB.

I am running windows 7 Ultimate, i7-4770k, 32GB Ram, 12 HDD and 1 SSD, With 2 JBOD Drives and a system drive.

One of my 5 year old 3TB drives has started having "current pending bad sector count" errors and unmounting the JBOD. I have the free space to shrink the JBOD below the 3TB drive but is there a way to exclude that disk and make the volume shrink off that specific drive?

Thanks in advance!
