Philips 27" monitor dead - repair or replace?

Hardware Clinic - www.hardwarezone.com.sg - forums.hardwarezone.com.sg
Halfway using the screen went blank, power light off. Tried changing power cable, same thing, cannot turn back on. One of the times I tried, the screen came to life for 3 secs with the PHILIPS showing on the screen before dying again.

My guess it the power button (one of those soft touch buttons), or the board.

THis is the secondary monitor my wife uses mainly for work stuff and watching streaming Korean dramas, no gaming on this. How much will repair cost, or would it be cheaper to just buy a new 27" monitor for $200?

Edit: Monitor is around 4-5 years old at least
