(Arma experts) Should I upgrade GPU or CPU

Graphics & Displays Forum - www.tomshardware.co.uk
Looking to upgrade something this holiday season at around a 200-250 dollar price range. I don't know if it should be a cpu since I plan to really only play Arma 2 Arma 3 and ToH with the occasional Battlefield, which runs pretty okay atm for me. Currently get like 20-40 fps in arma/toh, on a mix of high/medium and low settings. Arma 3 especially doesnt matter if i use ultra or low, the difference in fps is minimal. like 2k VD in arma and 8k ish in toh.

Current PC specs:

CPU: fx-6100 six core @3.3ghz

GPU: Radeon 7770 HD @1ghz

PSU: 650W

RAM: 10 gb

Mobo: Gigabyte 2A8C

So Arma is quite a CPU intensive game, especially factoring in the view distance setting which is very important to me (pilot). So I want to be able to keep 50ish fps on medium settings in multiplayer, upwards of 60 fps on ToH. 6-8k View distance on arma, at least 10-12k on ToH. I dont know whether to invest in a replacement in CPU or GPU, especially since VD settings which is what i value most along with fps is a really CPU intensive setting. Plus the fact that those games dont run well on multiple core CPUs and I have an AMD only compatible mobo makes that choice hard as well. I doont know if getting like an 8350 would even do anything. And getting like a good intel cpu and a new mobo is pretty much out of the question. Otherr option I could try is OCing my 6100 and getting a new GPU and cooler system. Been looking at the R9 270 or maybe even GTX 760, but I dont know how much those would get bottlenecked or if they are good decisions.

Okay lot of text sorry about that but any in depth responses are extremely appreciated
