Coffee Lake memory scaling
Sorry to be spamming the forums so much, but hey, at least there's something relatively new going on in the world of CPUs - 6 cores going mainstream, 4+ cores going to budget boxes etc.Anyway, it looks like G-Skill has already announced 4600MHz memory for Coffee Lake which won't be available for...
OC of Geil 2133MHz CL15 8GB DDR4 with APU/iGPU
I am planning to build a new PC later this year or early next year. Will wait to see Coffee Lake and Raven Ridge. I will not buy a discrete GPU. I found 8GB Geil 2133 CL15 RAM on Qoo10 for $74, which seems cheaper. Seems like for APU or iGPU RAM speed is important. If I am willing to OC...

Z270 motherboards incompatible with possible 6-core Coffee/Cannon Lake CPUs?
Would a six-core Coffee/Cannon Lake CPU be incompatible with a Z270 motherboard due to a lack of VRMs on the motherboard to regulate power to each of the 6 cores? It seems to me this is something you couldn't just fix with a Bios update. Unless you could repurpose the iGPU VRMs for the extra core...
